Epdesa is an eminent participant throughout the physical supply chain, and thus, mitigating our emissions requires intentional policies at every step.
We do our due diligence to ensure that counterparties are ISCC certified and comply with global standards (where applicable). Moreover, we charter a fleet of multi fuel vessels, including methanol and green powered vessels, to further decrease the carbon intensity of our trading activities. In terms of products, we actively trade sustainable fuels such as biodiesel and ethanol, and are working towards capturing value in the biofuel and feedstock space in the imminent future. Across the value chain, we strive to calculate our emissions to the best of our ability and allow auditors to assess our activity.
Our efforts to minimise emissions extend beyond compliance, we make conscious efforts in the workplace to reduce our carbon footprint through our practices and people.
We are committed to environmental sustainability through various practices. We adopt energy-efficient appliances, such as ENERGY STAR certified devices, and adhere to a strict recycling program for paper, plastic, and other materials. Additionally, we invest in sustainable business ventures to reinforce our dedication to better environmental practices, as well as offsetting corporate travel emissions with carbon credits.
At Epdesa, we inculcate a culture of sustainability in our team through comprehensive training programs on sustainable practices and ESG compliance. We also hire sustainability professionals to offer expert advice, hence, instituting policies from the ground-up.
